7902 Project is an improvisational experiment by four friends from different creative backgrounds. Their sound is noisy and heavy but consciously avoids falling into established aesthetic habits.
Tristan’s Oscillator, a classically trained professional violinist, brings haunting violin tones and high-energy guitar. Clockwork Chen (C.Chen), whose daily life is more closely tied to punk and metal, handles the deep, rumbling bass and semi-DIY hardware noise. Liu Shuai’er, a sociologist who defies easy categorization, creates rough, textured sounds with synthesizers and small wind instruments, stirring eerie ripples in the heavy sonic swamp.
The project’s initiator, Li He, explores music experiments and artistic creation across various media. This time, he contributes emotive electric guitar and processes vocals through effects.
